ANJ Motorsports Commits to 2016 Baja 1000

2015 Baja 1000 640x360 2016Apr08After some time of recovery from the 2015 SCORE Baja 1000, with some discussion and polling of ANJ Motorsports (anjmotorsports.net) team members, there are more team members already committed with greater interest and excitement for this year’s race than last year!

So we are proud to announce are return to the Baja peninsula to compete in the 2016 SCORE Baja 1000 (score-international.com). The race activities begin on Wednesday, November 16 with Pre-Tech and Safety inspections; Thursday is driver registration with the parade of racecars through contingency and podium TV interviews. The race begins on Friday, November 18 at 6:00am with the motorcycles off first and the final race vehicles crossing the finish line sometime late Saturday, November 19. Team ANJ will participate in the very competitive class 1/2-1600.

This is the longest non-stop off-road race in the world. Like last year, this year’s race will start and finish in Ensenada, Mexico. The race course is about 800 miles long and will consist of goat trails, silt, whoop-de-dos, and rocky beaches. This race is a time-limited race of 34 hours with support team involvement of up to 48 continuous hours of non-stop activity.

With all of the pre-running, logistics, and operations manual development from our year-long efforts in 2015, we are well ahead of last year’s preparations. We look forward to a very strong showing and a successful run at a win for Team ANJ Motorsports!
